From Ironwood, Mi take US2 east to GCR 513 (Black River Scenic Byway) and turn left. Travel 15 miles to the Campground and Harbor. From Wakefield, Mi take US 2 west for 6 1/2 miles and turn right on GCR 513 (Black River Scenic Byway). Travel north on GCR 513 for 15 miles to the Campground and Harbor.

The campground is completely modern facility with flush toilets; sewer dumping station, pressure water system, and 40 paved camping spurs. The campsites can accommodate tents, trailers, and motor homes. Seven campsites provide an overlook to Lake Superior. Each campsite is bordered by vegetation providing privacy for a quite enjoyable experience.

There are several opportunitees for short hikes within the Black River Harbor Recreation Area.  You can take any of the five short (1/4 - 1/2 mile) trails to the waterfalls which are all accessible from paved parking lots.  Or if you prefer to make it more of a day you can access the North Country Trail at the trail head at Copper Peak and travel North along the Black River and view the waterfalls and continue into the Black River Harbor for a 6 mile hike.  If you desire more the NCT continues across our famous suspension bridge and 5.8 miles to the edge of Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park.

From Bessemer travel east on US2 13 miles and turn right (south) on Dunham Road and travel aproximately 3 miles and turn right (south) FR8100.  Travel approximately 4 1/2 miles on FR 8100 to the campground. From Watersmeet travel west on US2 for 21 miles to Marenisco and turn left on Fair Avenue and travel for approximately 1 mileand turn right on M64.  Travel approximately 5 miles on M64 to FR 8100. Turn right on FR 8100 and travel approximately 4 1/2 miles to the campground.

Located in Gogebic County 4 miles southwest of the town of Marenisco, Mi., on the Bessemer Ranger District in the southern half of the Ottawa National Forest. Henry Lake Campground is a single loop campground with 11 campsites that are spaced with natural vegetation for screening. Henry Lake Campground provides drive-in sites that can accommodate tents, trailers, and motor homes. Each site offers a accessible wood table, fire ring and parking spur. Two single vault toilets are located near the fee station, while water is provided in the camping loop.  Located adjacent to the campsite is a boat landing, an accessible toilet, and a trail to a accessible fishing pier providing access to a variety of game fish.

From Bessemer, Mi travel east on US-2 approximately 19 miles to Marenisco, Mi and turn right on Fair Avenue (Jest west of the GCR 523/US-2 junction).  Travel for about 1 mile to M64(Kimberly Road). Turn left on M64 and travel east for 3 tenths of a mile and turn right on FR 8500 and go 1.7 miles to the campground. From Watersmeet, Mi travel west on US2 for 23 miles to Marenisco and turn left on Fair Avenue and go about 1 mile to M64. Turn left on M64(Kimberly Road)  and travel east for 3 tenths of a mile and turn right on FR 8500 and travel 1.7 miles to campground.

Located in Gogebic County just 2 miles southeast of Marenisco, Mi., on the Bessemer Ranger District in the Southern half of the Ottawa National Forest. Bobcat Lake campground features a one loop with 12 campsites. All sites have excellent privacy from each other. These drive in sites offers a tent pad, wood table, fire ring, lantern post and parking spur. Two outdoor toilets are located in the loop while water is provided by hand pump centrally located in the loop. Next to he campsite is a sandy beach and day use area, complete with bathroom facilities and changing house. Also adjacent to the campground is boat ramp, which provides access to a variety of game fish.

A gravel-surfaced ramp, suitable for medium-sized and smaller boats only. The site is signed.

From Bessemer, Mi., travel east on US-2 for 19 miles to Marenisco, Mi. Turn right (south) onto Fair Avenue and travel for 1 mile on Fair Avenue. Turn right onto M-64 and travel south for approximately 4 1/2 miles to FR 8820. Turn left (east) on FR 8820 and travel 5.2 miles to FR 6860. Continue on FR 6860 for 4 miles to FR 4862 and turn right and travel 1 1/2 mile to the campground. Watersmeet is 23 miles east of Marenisco, Mi, on US-2.

Located in Gogebic County 10 miles southeast of the town of Marenisco on the Bessemer Ranger District in the southern half of the Ottawa National Forest. Moosehead Lake Campground consist of one main camping loop with 13 campsites. All sites are widely spaced with natural vegetation for screening, providing excellent chance for privacy. This campground provides drive-in sites that can accommodate tents, trailer, and motor homes. Each site offers a tent pad, wood table, fire ring, and parking spur. Two vault toilet facilities are located in the camping loop, whole water is provided at on centrally located hand pump. Adjacent to the campground is a boat landing, which provides fishing opportunity's for a variety of game fish and located near the boat landing is a vault toilet.

From Bessemer, Mi., travel east on US-2 for 19 miles to Marenisco, Mi., and turn right (south) onto Fair Avenue for approximately 1 mile to Kimberly Road (M-64) Turn left on Kimberly Road and travel 3 tenths of a mile and turn right (south) on FR 8500.  Travel 5 miles and turn right on FR 7300 and travel approximately 5 miles and turn left (north) onto CR 525 and travel 1 1/2 miles to FR 6828.  Turn right onto FR 6828 and travel 1/2 mile to FR 6828A, turn right and travel 3 tenths of a mile to the campground. From Watersmeet, Mi., travel west on US-2 approximately 22 miles to FR 7300.

Adjacent to the campground is a boat landing to provide you access to a variety of game fish.

From Marenisco, Mi., travel east on US-2 10.3 miles to FR 7100. Turn right (south) on FR 7100 and travel 6 1/2 miles, turn left onto CR 527 and travel easterly approximatley 1 mile onto CR 531. Continue east on CR 531 approximately 1 mile to FR 6757. Travel on FR 6757 1 tenth of a mile to the campground. Note: FR 7100 is approximately 18 miles west of Watersmeet, Mi., on Us-2.
This rustic campground is located 11 miles to the Southeast of Marenisco, Mi., in the Bessemer Ranger District. Langford Lake Campground features a single loops with 11 campsites. The campsites are spaced with natural vegetation for screening. Each site offers a wood table, fire ring, and a parking spur. Two vault toilets are located in the camping loop and drinking water is provided at a centrally located hand pump. Adjacent to the campground is the boat landing and parking area.

Sylvania (Clark Lake) Campground is located 7 miles southwest of Watersmeet, Mi., adjacent to the 18,327 Sylvania Wilderness Area. This 48 site campground provides a home base for wilderness visitors who venture into the wilderness on day outings. Sylvania (Clark Lake) Campground provides more amenities than what is provided in the wilderness area. This campground consist of 4 camping loops with a total of 48 campsites and provides drive-in campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers and motor homes. All sites are spaced with natural vegetation for screening. Each site offers a wood table, fire ring, lantern post and parking spur. Drinking water is provided by faucets in loops 2, 3, & 4, while two flush toilet facilities and one accessible vault toilet are evenly spaced throughout the campground. Also located adjacent to the campground is a day use facility that has showers, a picnic area, canoe access-boat landings, trail heads and a swimming beach. Also located in the campground is a Water and Sewage Dump Station.
