Located on M-94 approximately 3 miles south of Munising in the Hiawatha National Forest.

All ski trails are groomed for both classic and skate X-C skiing. Also open for mountain biking and hiking outside of ski season. Day pass or season membership pass required for skiers. Other trail use by donation.
The log-cabin lodge is open for warming and socializing during ski season from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Ski passes available for purchase at lodge during hours. Pay at fee tube outside of lodge hours.

Eben Ice Caves are located in the Rock River Wilderness area of the Hiawatha National Forest.
Colwell Lake - Hiawatha National Forest/Trail
From Manistique drive north 25 miles on M-94 to FR 2246. Turn right (east) and drive 0.5 miles to the campground road.
Colwell lake is 145 acres with an excellent swimming beach and boat access. Camping, fishing, picnicking and hiking are other popular recreation activities at Colwell Lake. Renovated in 1993, the area meets most current Americans with Disabilities Act Guidelines. Electricity, water hydrants, a dump station, picnic ground, lakeside path, and skid pier have been added.
The campground consists of 35 individual family sites, five have electric RV hook-ups, fire ring, lantern post and tent pad. Toilets and water hydrants are conveniently spaced throughout the campground.

Boat Launch: A hard-surfaced ramp, in areas of limited water depth or limited size of water body, where launching and retrieving of largest boats may be difficult and not recommended. The site is signed.

Camp 7 Lake - Hiawatha National Forest/Van Winkle Lake Trail
From the Intersection of US-2 and Forest Highway 13 (about 14 miles east of Rapid River), drive north 8.4 miles on Highway 13 to CR 442. Turn right (east) and drive 7.8 miles to the campground road on the left (north).
Camp 7 Lake is a 60-acre lake that offers swimming, boating, and fishing, as well as camping and picnicking. A nature trail is nearby. The excellent location, beautiful setting, and many activities make this a perfect place for spending a day, a weekend, or your entire vacation.
There are 41 campsites set among large shade trees, each has a table and fire ring. There are seven specified sites available for handicapped people, as well as other facilities. Drinking water is conveniently located throughout the campground.
Van Winkle Lake Trail - This 2 mile loop trail, located at the Camp 7 Lake Recreation Area, leads hikers/snowshoers to a spectacular paper birch stand overlooking quiet Van Winkle Lake. Bring your binoculars to scan the lake for waterfowl and wetland wildlife!

CAMP 7 LAKE - R281.721.1 - Hours for high-speed boating and water skiing.1. On the waters of Camp 7 lake, township of Garden, county of Delta, state of Michigan, no operator of nay motorboat, during the period from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. of the following day, shall: (a) Operate such motorboat at high speed, which means a speed at or above which a motorboat reaches a planing condition. (b) Have in tow, or otherwise assist in the propulsion of, a person on water skis, water sled, surfboard, or other similar contrivance.
