See totally restored WWII CG 4A Glider, 84’ wing span, 48’ long; towed and was released into combat war zones. Photos, information and glider parts detail role played. Exhibits of 70 military jackets and memorabilia from Civil War through Afghanistan War. 1930 J3 Piper Cub, Heiserman Plane, Model A Ford Tudor, rare Model AA Ford Dump Truck and more. A/V Room w/ glider, WWII footage. Wall of plaques honoring military, Ford employees and donors.

Cornish Pumping Engine & Mining Museum features giant 725 ton Cornish Pumping Engine with 40’ diameter flywheel, rising 54’ from floor. The U.S. largest steam-driven pumping engine was designed and built by E.P. Allis Co., Milwaukee, in 1889. Patterned after those built in Cornwall, England, it dewatered one of the wettest mines ever worked. National Historic Sites; National Mechanical/Civil Engineering Landmarks.
